DTL Free is a tool for converting and optimising Daz Genesis 8 / 8.1 figures for Unreal Engine 5.x using Maya 2023 / 2024.
The conversion process replaces the existing skeleton with one optimised for Unreal Engine, produces a set of high quality custom JCMs that are optimised for all games engines that employ linear skinning, merges all the meshes and recreates morphs at the specified subdivision level.

Once conversion is complete, the figure is game ready and can be imported directly into any game engine.
The figure can also be further edited using Maya / Blender / any DCC application that handles clean, well formed fbx files containing skinned models.
